All those iPhone gamers calling for new maps have been redeemed: You can now play Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies the way it was meant to be played, thanks to the brand new 1.3.0 update. Call of the Dead: Director's Cut has just been unleashed on the App Store, and it certainly packs a punch.
Firstly - Nikolai, Takeo, Richtofen and Dempsey are back, and this time they're in Siberia, facing an all-new ruthless zombie menace. In the dark. Lucky for them, they've got new weapons (the V-R11 and Semtex mine), a few new achievements and a brand new Perk-a-cola: Deadshot Daquiri.
It's not all new introductions, developer Activision has also spent a little bit of time working on some optimisations and fixes, and they have all now been implemented in 1.3.0 as well.
The new patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is out right now in the App Store, playable on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. After you buy the initial App, it's free-to-play, but if you want to speed things up, feel free to pick up some extra Points via in-app purchase.
