Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
All the fuss about Halo wasn't limited to the live action webseries announced last week - there was still enough spotlight to shine a glimmer or two onto the upcoming game. A brand-new, limited edition, super-shiny Halo 4 console bundle was announced over the weekend, complete with a fancy-pants wireless controller and exclusive downloadable content.
We've seen Halo-inspired consoles before, but this one (with its glowing blue light) is a little bit special - a far cry from the gold-green-sludge of the Halo 3 model. Halo 4 comes with the new hardware (of course), and you'll get a pair of matching exclusive controllers. This, in turn, is all bundled up with a wired headset, a 320GB hard drive, built-in wi-fi, and enough Xbox LIVE tokens to snag you a whole pile of Halo 4 in-game and avatar marketplace downloads.
Considered the "definitive" console bundle of 2012, the Limited Edition Halo 4 Xbox 360 bundle will be available through selected retailers - so make your enquiries now.
Don't want a whole new console? It's okay: Microsoft and 343 Industries are also releasing the UNSC-branded limited edition wireless controller, all by itself. Featuring a dark grey translucent body, you'll get a free t-shirt for your virtual avatar, just for taking one home.
Both the console and the new hardware will launch alongside Halo 4 - that is: November 6th, 2012. Start countin' the days.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
