Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Battlefield 4 is coming from EA, with the publisher offering beta access to the as-yet-unannounced shooter as an added perk for pre-ordering Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
The pre-order appeared as an offering in the U.S. Origin store, but is absent from the online retailer in other regions. The North American retailer quickly updated its artwork, replacing the banner with one promoting Battlefield 3 Premium instead.
Battlefield's official Twitter account has attempted to debunk the rumours, announcing that "If it isn't on Battlefield.com, it isn't official!" ...but then deleted the tweet, reposting a message that reads:
BF4? Maybe one day. Remember, if it’s not on Battlefield.com it’s not official.
Obviously, the instructions to take from that? Keep your eyes glued to the official Battlefield.com for further updates.
It's not an unsurprising tie-in: When Battlefield 3 was launched late last year, the boxed copy contained a mysterious card, linked to the then-unannounced Medal of Honor release from Danger Close.
It looks like, twelve months later, the team's returning the favour - albeit a little prematurely.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
