UKIE Game Charts, Week 26 2012

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 40 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by the The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.

Superheroes are battlin' it out in this week's charts: Despite a drop in sales, LEGO Batman 2 has managed to hold off movie tie-in debut The Amazing Spider-Man. The Dark Knight's achievements are even more impressive when you consider there are a massive three new entries in the top five, with the blocky legend holding Spec Ops: The Line in third place, and London 2012 in fourth.

There is one other game making its debut in the top ten, and it's an additional version of an existing game: Welcome, portable Metal Gear Solid - it's officially one of the best-selling Vita launches in the console's history (outside of launch week), only just behind Unit 13 and Gravity Rush.
