LittleBigPlanet Vita pre-order costumes revealed

We're not really sure if you need another reason to pick up LittleBigPlanet for Vita, beyond the fact that it is LittleBigPlanet for Vita, where Sackboy can take advantage all the bells and whistles of Sony's latest handheld. But - apparently - there are some people who are yet to be convinced, so we have news of another tasty carrot to dangle in front of you.

Pre-orders for the game have kicked off today from various retailers, meaning if you slap your money down now, you can pick up a pretty impressive collection of bonus costumes.

First off, there's a set of costumes inspired by Knights of Old, meaning you can dress your Sackboy (or Sackgirl) as a knight, damsel in distress, black knight or - wait for it - a terrifying dragon. Each of these colours will remain exclusive to pre-order customers forever, so if you're into that sort of thing, it's a little bit special.

That's not all though - there's also a super-lovely Little Sister and Big Daddy on offer from BioShock, bringing a slightly spooky touch to proceedings. (Notably, there's no mention of exclusivity on this set...)

At this stage, there's been no mention of whether or not these are retailer-dependent, which territories will receive the bonus, or if one pre-order will net you both sets. Until we hear back from Sony, it might be a good idea to get in touch with your local retailer and inquire about what they're up to.
