[E32012] Video Interview: Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 has been earning itself a little controversy in recent months, what with the magic beans and the pretty ladies and the "mature themes", but in spite of this (or perhaps because of), it's also been earning itself a whole stack of pre-release awards.

It's been a year now since we first heard of the game, which was a surprise reveal at E3 2011. Oddly enough, it's also been twelve months since we last caught up with producer Dan Hay, but we managed to track him down again and chat about what's been happening with Jason and Vaas, as their lives continue to explore an all-new kind of insanity.

Little bits and pieces about the Far Cry 3 experience kept floating around the show floor as different people spent some personal time with the game. We heard mentions of multiple islands to explore, four-player co-op, bows and arrows (they're the new black), multi-faceted conflicts and, wait for it... Flaming tigers. Not much gets scarier than that.

Far Cry 3, still in the works at Ubisoft Montreal is looking at a release date of December 4th in North America, and November 29th in Europe and other territories (yep, earlier!).
