Open-world block builder Minecraft launched on Xbox LIVE this week, the jewel in the crown of the Arcade Next promotion. And while everybody knew it was going to be a somewhat successful little venture, nobody quite anticipated the level of rabid enthusiasm for the game, as creator Notch explains:
Well then. Saw the official sales numbers for the first 24 hours of Minecraft Xbox 360, and it's very, very good. Profitable in an hour.
