Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Oops. Sony's upcoming big reveal of the next God of War release has been scuttled, by retail giant Amazon. The online store is proudly announcing that God of War: Ascension is in the works, with placeholder box-art and a pencilled-in date of "December 31".
Adding insult to injury: Here's the debut trailer for the game.
The retail description of God of War: Ascension is pretty simple at this stage:
From the looks of things, God of War: Ascension - the fourth full title in the series - will in fact be a prequel, but we don't know too much about it at this stage. The lack of a "IV" anywhere in the title is a positive sign, plus there's that narration in the trailer...Join Kratos as he seeks freedom, redemption, and the clarity to avenge his family in the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far.
Sorry Sony - you've really gotta keep your projects under tighter wraps. What are you going to show off at E3 now?
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
