From Dust received mixed reviews when it launched last year, but it's hoping a slightly better reception will come with a different platform. Ubisoft has announced the not-quite-a-God game is headed to Google Chrome in April, joining the likes of Bastion and Angry Birds.
Rather than a simple port of the XBLA release, Ubisoft has tarted up the Chrome version with a few extra bits and pieces - including a new control scheme.
At this stage, no further details have been announced for this chromed-up From Dust, but we're anticipating this one will follow in footsteps trodden by Bastion, maintaining a single price point across multiple platforms.
The announcement comes as the dust settles (ha!) on an announcement from Google itself: Google Play will create a single, cloud-based login spanning an assortment of marketplaces. Primarily intended as a way of easily syncing multiple Android devices, it also suggests that the company is gearing up as a worthy competitor in terms of video game distribution.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
