Japanese Infinity Blade adaptation gets a little help

An adaptation of Infinity Blade has arrived in Japan, as part of a project which sees Epic Games and ChAIR Entertainment join forces with DeNA.

The new, free-to-play game - Infinity Blade Cross - has arrived on the Japan-only Mobage platform - and despite having three of the big names in the industry behind it, required a little more help to get it over the line.

Enter: iNiS, the Japanese developer behing Elite Beat Agents and Lips.

Rather than being a simple port of either the original Infinity Blade or its sequel, the new game has been localised and redesigned to better suit the Japanese mobile release.

If you're in the right part of the world, sign in to Mobage and check it out for yourself! ...if you're not though, why not catch up with what Jay Wilbur, Vice President of Epic Games had to say in our recent video interview?
