Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Regardless of where you live in the world, a bargain is still a bargain, and the Aussie App Sale is certainly packed with great deals. It's the third year of the Australian-made showcase, and there are already 26 awesome games and utility apps up for grabs.
Designed to show off the best local talent, the Aussie App Sale spotlights Australian-made apps, with a special place for bargains that'll set you back less than $1 - and an even special-er spot for those which have dropped their prices for the sale.
It's not all games - alongside fun titles like Star Hammer Tactics and both One Single Life and its sequel, there are utility apps handling everything from photography and VOIP access to tax calculators and property.
The Aussie App Sale started December 3rd and runs for a full month over the holiday period, shutting its doors on January 3. The lineup's already pretty impressive, but - as with previous years - developers are encouraged to submit new works all the time, so by later this month, there's expected to be even more great titles sitting in the specials rack!
GamePron doesn't like to play favourites, but must mention a few games you'd be foolish to miss: Gamebook Adventures 5: Catacombs of the Undercity and 6: The Wizard of Tarnath Tor are nearly 50% off and well worth every cent (7: Temple of the Spider God is also in the spotlight if you just can't get enough). Another bargain: Pop from Nnooo! is currently ridiculously cheap at just $0.99.
If you want to check it all out for yourself, head to the Aussie App Sale website and have a browse. Plenty of stuff there for everybody - and it's only going to get better over the next few weeks.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
