Steam Autumn Sale 2011 is a bit ridiculous

Check your calendars, ladies and gentlemen: The Steam Autumn Sale has now kicked off, promising somewhat ridiculous discounts and savings from November 23-27.

Rather than simply offering one set of sales across the four days, the powers that be at Steam are instead running a series of 24hr mini-sales, so you'll have to make up your mind quickly - and check back on the website every day.

You can either hit up the Steam Store and salivate all over the selected offerings, or you can make your decisions based on publisher or genre.

Today, the holiday season kicks off in style, with 66% off Portal 2 and Duke Nukem Forever, 50% off Call of Duty: Black Ops, and the standard edition of Mass Effect 2 for less than US$5.
