The MMO beta won't run for long if it's launched much later than that - Funcom is working towards an April 2012 release date, and seems to be on track. The fire's been lit under the developer with the recent announcement of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, with the expansion set predicted to suck up a bunch of MMO players - The Secret World's potential audience.
There's a lot of pressure on Funcom, with the company's new baby being hyped up as one of the most anticipated games of 2012. Miguel giggles and agrees that yes, there is pressure, but...
That's what we think too! It goes inline with our passion and our expectations of the game.
Currently flying under the radar for most people, The Secret World is looking rather impressive - it's something a little unusual in the MMO realm, doing away with classic fantasy and instead taking a modern approach. It's not all as it seems, however, the game packed with puzzles and a unique class system, designed to set it apart from the rest.
I like video games and music and cups of tea and noodles and beagles and colour-cycling LEDs.
