American aquarium supplier Quality Marine prides itself on - you guessed it - quality marine products and specimens, and two new additions to the catalogue suggests there is a gamer on the payroll.
Those are both forms of Acanthastrea coral: The red one there on the left is n00b tube, while the blue one is Nuketown. Sounds like someone's been playing a little much Call of Duty: Black Ops, to me!
The Facebook post announcing the two new forms openly admits to the video gaming influence - and it's not the first time a video game has inspired the Quality Marine coral namer - One of Swords points out that earlier this month, The Master Chief made its glorious pink-and-purple debut.
Flicking through the virtual catalogue, you'll also find coral inspired by football teams and Star Wars, and there's also a Wrought Iron Butterfly which will, without fail, get In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida stuck in your head. You're welcome.
