Denki doesn’t argue with BAFTA nomination

After a long, drawn-out development period which saw publishers pull out, development platforms change and the near-complete closure of the studio, Quarrel is now facing a "Best Game" nomination at the British Academy Scotland Awards.

Quarrel

The Denki word puzzler for iPhone is one of three titles - all from Dundee - up for the gong, which recognises excellence in film, television and video games in Scotland. It's the second time a Denki game has been nominated, but the first in nearly ten years (following in the Denki Blocks! footsteps from 2002).

Awards night is Sunday 13th November, and we hear Denki is already picking an outfit. Because the whole studio has been nominated, they're deciding who will attend based on the simplest way they could think of - by running a Quarrel league.
