Think E3 is easy?

And while we're speaking of awesome games we checked out at E3, it's only fair that we mention Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
A bunch of retailers jumped the gun a little by updating their online databases to show a new release date over the weekend. As we keep telling you, online retailers are never to be trusted when it comes to release dates - many of them simply put placeholder details in that spot - but the number of updates, and the identical date chosen suggested that something was up.
Now, Ubisoft has confirmed: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the awesome Kinect-enabled entry into the franchise, will launch on March 6th, 2012.
Remember, that's after a beta test scheduled for January, so the game itself should be awfully shiny by then. This makes me happy. Even though we missed the original "Summer 2011" release, it's nice to see Ghost Recon: Future Soldier looking like it'll make the revised, "Q1 2012" deadline.
