It's shaping up as an action-MMORPG, which sees the city of Atlantis under attack from Ragnarok - and (you guessed it), it's up to you to stave off the invading forces. This one sounds like things could get messy, and unlike previous Perfect World MMOs, we're promised "more content and bigger PvP elements".
There are eight classes in store: Berzerker, Champion, Heretic, Magus, Slayer, Duelist, Ranger and Enchantress - each one with their own specific Soul Gear equipment that's designed to adapt and change as you ding your way through levels.
Oh, and from the outset, unlike other games we could mention, guild housing is supported, as a place for you to pick up new recruits, trade crafting materials and - of course - plan upcoming raids.
Not sure yet whether this one will be free-to-play, subscription-based or something else, but we're hanging out for more information. Closed beta kicks off on October 25th, so head to the official War of the Immortals website and sign up if you're interested!
I like video games and music and cups of tea and noodles and beagles and colour-cycling LEDs.
