Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Way back in February of this year, The Behemoth released the Pink Knight for the PlayStation version of Castle Crashers. At the time, we were promised an XBLA version was on the way... but it's taken six months for it to arrive.
Finally, the rosy Pink Knight has arrived on Xbox Live Arcade, bringing with it new moves and weapons - and The Behemoth has promised that, for the first fifty thousand downloads, the company will donate US$1 to the Keep A Breast Foundation.
The Pink Knight was actually born out of the Xbox Live Arcade community - the character started simply as a myth when the game was launched, but people kept believing in this blushing bludgeoner, to the point where The Behemoth decided to make it a reality - and it's completely free.
But wait - that's not all.
There's also a brand new Blacksmith Pack released for 160 Microsoft Points - the Blacksmith wields miniature antlered frogs, springboard contraptions and burning hammers of justice. And it's purple.
Then, there's two new Avatar Awards, a Team vs Team feature for Player Match Arena, the ability to check Player's Gamer Cards in Xbox Live matches, and a main menu news ticker for all the news that's fit to print about Castle Crashers or The Behemoth.
...throw in a bunch of bugfixes (including the Sandworm experience glitch), and you've got the Castle Crashers Title Update 2.
Worth the half-a-year wait? We're not sure, but it's definitely something pretty spiffy. And pink. Can't go wrong there.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
