GamePron News Season 2, Episode 22

GamePron News this week sees the official announcement: Electronic Arts has acquired PopCap Games in a deal reportedly worth $750 million. Aussie developers Firemint reveal their newest tiny secret agent, while the team at Tiny Speck introduce a Japanese hero, working on surreal MMO Glitch.

Call of Duty Elite starts its invitation-only beta, Poland proves itself as a game development hot-spot with the announcement of Hard Reset, and Rise of Nightmares is given the OK in Australia.

Finally, while video game comic books cover the good and the bad, we turn to film adaptations for the ugly.
