Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
As the U.S. celebrates July 4th and the official beginning of summer, EA prepares for its annual Summer Showcase later this week. Last year, we got our first glimpses of Alice: Madness Returns, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning and Fight Night: Champion, so this year was already expected to be kinda sizeable.
Now, though - Wendy Spander, senior events and media manager for EA, has been almost unable to control her excitement on Twitter, posting:
Looking forward to the 3 day weekend - then back to work preparing for the big EA Summer Showcase on Thursday. Big announcements ahead!
...just what those big announcements are is yet to be seen, but we're guessing there will be a chunk of info about Battlefield 3, because it's awesome. Also plenty of news about The Sims 3 Pets (which we already love) and Madden NFL 12, plus some new stuff.
You've only got a couple of days to go, so fire up that rumour mill and get started thinking about Crysis, Respawn and, um, Syndicate.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
Release date for Star Wars: The Old Republic?
/wishful thinking.
