Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
If you've ever wanted a Batman FPS, Warner Bros has quite the treat for you. Gotham City Impostors is a download-only title currently in development at Monolith Productions, where you'll revisit the title city and battle for control.
It seems that Gotham has been overrun by - wait for it - impostors, inspired by both Batman and the Joker, and things are getting a little out of hand.
Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment explains:
"Gotham City Impostors blows apart expectations for superhero games with an exaggerated take on first person shooters, set in a part of the DC Universe players have never seen before.
"Monolith is creating a game that turns Gotham City upside down and we think fans are going to have a blast with this creative twist on multiplayer heroism and anti-heroism as they play up the classic rivalry between Batman and The Joker."
Rebel against conformity and customise your own characters in this multiplayer experience, creating your own amateur villain or vigilante. Monolith (home of F.E.A.R.) promises "unprecedented" customisation options - homebrewed gadgets, insane costumes and a whole bunch of weapons, both traditional and imagined. Create your own Bats or Jokerz, and let 'em loose on Gotham City.
We're not sure when, exactly, but Gotham City Impostors will be available for Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
