This is heavy: Back to the Future, the video game

The average American gamer is 34 years old, according to the Entertainment Software Association - which makes it even more surprising that it's taken this long for a video game to be made, based on the classic 80s Back to the Future movies.

Back to the Future

We gotta go back!

It's developed by Telltale Games, and the Back to the Future game series (yes, series!) will include the likenesses of both Michael J Fox (Marty McFly) and Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown) - with Lloyd even lending his voice to the project!

To ensure the games maintain that air of authenticity, author of the original screenplays, Bob Gale, will be working with the developers on each of the five "episodes" currently planned. (Remember, Telltale Games have essentially written the book on how to do episodic gaming, so this should be good!)

Details are currently sketchy, but Telltale have confirmed the DeLorean will make an appearance in Back To The Future, which will be set (in part) in 1985, in the fictional Californian town of Hill Valley.
