Think E3 is easy?
Watch here on E3 week and see how much exercise I do.
Can you believe it's been a decade since American McGee's Alice was launched onto the world stage? Ten years ago, an older, more disturbed (and disturbing) Alice returned to Wonderland, Vorpal Blade in hand.
If you ever wanted to get your grubby mitts on your own Vorpal Blade, without going to all the effort of attempting suicide, surviving fatal housefires and enduring an extended stint in a mental institution, now's your chance, thanks to the efforts of Epic Weapons. They've created an exact replica of the Vorpal Blade wielded by Alice in her adventures through the original game, made in high-quality Japanese stainless steel, complete with intricate scrollwork and a detailed handle.
Want one? Epic Weapons have produced a limited edition of 1,000 painstakingly designed swords, and are offering the first 25 of them for live auction at San Diego's Comic-Con from July 22nd-31st. If you want to get in on that action, pre-registration for the auction kicks off today!
(If you'd prefer a slightly less stressful purchase, the blade - and commemorative stand - are also available via their website.)
Personally, I'd be happy with the ever-fabled "next-gen" remake of the game. Or for spiritual successor American McGee's OZ to be resurrected. Or maybe some
more news on American McGee's Little Red Riding Hood.
I like video games, fishing, Depeche Mode, long walks on the beach, writing discussion papers and cups of tea. Not necessarily in that order.
