Arx Libertatis 1.0.3 bugfix release 2012-07-31

The 1.0.3 release fixes two regressions introduced in 1.0.2 for Windows users: Crashes on startup after selecting the OpenGL renderer and low mouse sensitivity with the DirectInput backend. There are also fixes for other crashes, rendering glitches, missing speech during cinematics in the Russian and Italian versions, missing ambient sound effects as well as bugs in how some skill values were calculated. Arx is a first-person, 3D RPG in the vein of Ultima Underworld. You explore a large underground, medieval, fantasy organization inhabited by both monsters and conversive non-player characters. Your character will increase in skill and attributes as they level up and many different weapons, armor, and items will be available to equip them. You will be able to cast over fifty spells using a rune-based system. A few of the technical details include highly detailed, mesh-based monsters in 32-bit, real-time physics, breakable items, dynamic lighting and excellent artificial intelligence provided by a scripting language.
