What bugs me is that Dietz is generally a fun author to read – he’s better than this. And I’d think the editors would be more careful.

I wonder if he’s actually played either of the games?

Well now, that’s embarrassing. When I started the article, I’d totally forgotten about Retribution. Was reminded of it later and thought I’d fixed the references to the number of books. Apparently I missed one!
